Description: Saint Therese of Lisieux is seated in a contemplative pose upon a simple backless bench. She is clothed with the timeless religious robe of the Carmelite Order. As part of her habit, her waist is cinctured with a large beaded rosary while an attached crucifix gently falls over the right side of her chair. Her hands are prayerfully enfolded upon the Scriptures which rest upon her lap while rose blossoms cascade down the front of her dress unto the earth below.
